The philosophy of Martin Bullock Lawyers is to attempt to obtain a speedy resolution to difficulties that you are having. We have mainly built our reputation upon clients who are satisfied that we have achieved this aim. We see going to Court as a last resort. In many cases we are able to negotiate a settlement so that you do not need to go to Court. In those circumstances we are able to reach a final resolution by filing, at Court, paperwork that you have signed and ensuring that the Court makes Orders ("Consent Orders") without you actually having to attend the Court.

The attitude and reasonableness of your spouse and/or those advising your spouse and the overall complexity of the particular situation will have an impact upon whether this form of finalising the dispute can be used. Of course, Consent Orders can be reached at any stage of the Court proceedings after they have commenced. In fact, sometimes commencing the proceedings is a cost effective method of stimulating the other side into signing Consent Orders.
